I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Growing up as the son of a pastor, there was always one thing I knew with certainty—I would never be a pastor. Yet in His divine providence, after years of wrestling with a call to ministry, God used a mission trip and a humble Cuban pastor’s message to lead me to a life surrendered to ministry.
I am a graduate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Science in Theology and a Master of Divinity. I am currently doing a Ph.D. in World Religions & Historical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Pastor Danilo’s hope for Truth Community:
My hope for Truth Community is that we would be a body of true believers that Know God by learning and living under the authority of His Word; Love people by inviting those who are broken to receive the hope that Christ alone can give; Make Disciples by living as authentic believers who are wholly dependent on God every day, through every season of life.
