I am originally from the Corpus Christi area, but I have lived in Kingsville for about 12 years now. I grew up in and out of church and never really heard or understood the Gospel message. In college, God saved me as I heard the Gospel faithfully proclaimed at the Kingsville Baptist Student Ministry (BSM). For seven years I served as a college minister at the BSM, but the Lord began to break my heart for local churches and prepared me to transition into a church setting.
I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Ministry (MA) at Stark College & Seminary, and I hope to pursue my Master of Divinity (MDiv) after my MA is finished.

Cody’s hope for Truth Community:
It's hard to hope for more than to see God fulfilling the mission and vision of Truth Community Church; that we would be a people who know God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ as we saturate the city of Kingsville with the Word of God. I hope this church would be known as a community filled with disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ as we rely on the Spirit and glorify Christ according to the will of the Father.
